Stopping nail biting by learning to take care of my nails?

Yes, I admit, I'm a nail biter...

Ive decided to try a bit of self therapy and replace my nail biting habit with some nail basic nail care =D

By basic I mean only trimming and filing.

So..

How much do good quality clippers and filers tend to cost?

And, any tips on how to start off/ pit falls I should take care to avoid?

other than that, I'm pretty sure I can learn off the internet.

Wish me luck!Stopping nail biting by learning to take care of my nails?
I have a similar problem. Instead of biting my nails, I pick at them with my other nails. It's a nasty habit. The one thing I've found that helps is painting them (though, if you're a guy, that might not be your first choice). That keeps me from ripping them up because it's like, ';Oh, man, I just painted them!';

I'm not sure that will work or not, but I bet you could get something sufficient for cheap (probably less than $10). I've heard that replacing one habit with another works, so you could try that haha.

Though, if you continue to bite your nails, remember be careful about it. You don't want a case of parasitic worms.Stopping nail biting by learning to take care of my nails?
u don't have to do that! all u have to do is put this stop and grow nail polish on it that tastes disgusting and you'll eventually stop!
