Why is it improtant to take care or you hair, nails and skin?

The truth is... other than keeping them clean, there isn't any real need for additional grooming. If you're not chewing them, you might find long, jagged-edged nails are bothersome. They'll get caught on things and may tear below the nail bed. That break in the skin could lead to infection. That's the reason to keep them trim. Combing ones hair is optional. Can you say dreadlocks? As long as the hair is clean and free from parasites, not combing it won't hurt you. If you keep your skin clean, and free from offensive odors, lotions and treatments aren't really needed.

Now... just because it won't hurt you, grooming oneself isn't completely unnecessary. Not keeping your hair, nails, and skin puts you at a disadvantage socially. The opposite sex generally finds poor grooming unappealing. You might also have some trouble finding a job. Other than working as a clerk in a music store, most employers expect their employees to be neat. Unless you've got it made as an artist, or writer, you'll never see a money job. You might also find you have a hard time keeping friends. Who wants a friend they always have to describe as, ';At least he/she doesn't smell.';?

A comb, some nail clippers, and a stick of deodorant... at the least. Why is it improtant to take care or you hair, nails and skin?

It gives you more interesting choices if you look interesting.
#1 it's just good hygene. And it makes you look good and feel good about yourself. And I'm sure taking care of yourself prevents disease of some sort.
1) Basic hygiene

2) Disease prevention - Think bacterial, viral, parasitic and fungal. I'm sure there are more.

Raggedy nails with open bleeding cuticles are infections waiting to happen. Same with skin wounds. They allow germs to enter the body and it can make you sick. Hair can be a breeding ground for parasites like lice, your skin can get scabies. And don't forget about the fungus which can affect all three.
